About AirportDoku

AirportDoku is the daily airport grid for aviation enthusiasts. Each square needs an airport that satisfies both the clue on its row and the clue on its column.

Three independent puzzles are published every day, presented as cabins: Economy (Easy), Business (Medium) and First Class (Hard). They differ in which airports can be used as answers and in how demanding the clues are. Progress, flight time and streaks are tracked separately for each cabin.

Clues are evidence-led. An airport only satisfies a clue when accepted current evidence supports it; facts that are unknown or in conflict never qualify. Every answer is checked on the server against the puzzle's own answer set, and the game never tells you which of the two clues you missed.

Every Sunday puzzle is a Golden Airport puzzle: one square hides a bonus airport, and it turns gold the moment you find it. Puzzles on other days carry no Golden Airport.

The airport directory is compiled from public sources and covers thousands of airports. Some entries are marked provisional while their details are being confirmed — they can still be submitted. A few are recognised for search only and cannot yet be used as answers, so you can see that the airport exists in our directory even when it isn't answer-eligible.

Airport facts change constantly — names, codes, runways, ownership and traffic are all revised — and no directory of this size is ever perfect. If something looks wrong, use “Report an issue” in the footer, in any clue explanation, or on the results card. That opens an email to feedback@airportdoku.com in your own email app, pre-filled with the puzzle and square you were looking at.

There are no accounts, leaderboards, newsletters or subscriptions.
