About AirportDoku

AirportDoku is a daily 3×3 grid puzzle about the world's airports. Each square needs an airport that satisfies both the clue on its row and the clue on its column.

Three independent puzzles are published every day, presented as cabins: Economy (Easy), Business (Medium) and First Class (Hard). They differ in which airports can be used as answers and in how demanding the clues are. Progress, timers and streaks are tracked separately for each cabin.

Clues are evidence-led. An airport only satisfies a clue when accepted current evidence supports it; facts that are unknown or in conflict never qualify. Every answer is checked on the server against the puzzle's own answer set, and the game never tells you which of the two clues you missed.

Once a week, the Sunday puzzle is the Golden Airport puzzle: one square hides a bonus airport. Find it and the square turns gold straight away. Other days carry no Golden Airport.

Airport data covers a large recognised directory compiled from public sources. Some airports are marked provisional while their details are confirmed, and a few are recognised for search only and can't yet be submitted as answers. Airport facts change — names, codes, runways and traffic are all revised over time — so entries are reviewed as evidence improves.

There are no accounts, leaderboards, newsletters or subscriptions. Your progress stays on your device.
